DC WISE Co-Presidents, Mandy Mills and Kymber Menkiti,
at last year’s annual fundraiser, hosted by Studio Theatre

For the Mandy and David Team, real estate is more than a business. It’s about building a community. One way that we invest in our community is by giving back to those in need.

This month, we’re proud to sponsor two events that are near and dear to our hearts. On October 12, DC WISE will host an auction to raise money for Crittenton Services, which serves at-risk girls in low-performing middle and high schools in the area. The Butterfly Bash on October 13 is the annual fundraiser for Fair Chance, which provides pro bono consulting services to local nonprofits to help them improve their operations.

A group of women in real estate created DC WISE (Women in Solidarity for Empowerment) to combine their philanthropic efforts and make a bigger impact. Each year, they choose a local nonprofit that serves women and children and raise money for that organization. Last year, they donated $100,000 to the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project, the largest single gift they’d ever received.

Fair Chance provides free consulting services for local nonprofits that serve children and youth in poverty. By partnering business executives with nonprofits, Fair Chance helps those organizations strengthen their performance and reach more kids.

Mandy is proud to serve on the boards of both organizations, and we hope you’ll join us to support their efforts. To buy tickets to the events or make a donation, please visit Fair Chance and DC WISE.

How do you help the Mandy and David Team clients?
As director of listings, I work closely with Mandy and David to sell our clients’ properties. I've had many roles on the team, from contract coordinator to listings manager.

What do you enjoy about living in the D.C. area?
I live in Logan Circle and love the walkability of D.C. From my doorstep, I can be at the Washington Monument or in Columbia Heights in about 10 minutes.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I have ridden in over 500 SoulCycle classes. I’m kind of addicted.
