D.C. is full of historic neighborhoods, each with its own unique charm, and Dupont Circle is always fun. Learn more about one of my favorite places.

Whether it’s shopping at Proper Topper or dining at Hank’s Oyster Bar, there’s always something happening in Dupont Circle. Here are some of our favorites.
Duke’s Grocery – We’re kind of obsessed with the Proper Burger at Duke’s. (Read Mandy’s blog to find out why!)

The Phillips Collection – We love to take visitors to the Phillips – an amazing museum partially housed in the Phillips family home. We never tire of the Migration Series, by Jacob Lawrence, which still resonates today.
Kramerbooks – An oldy, but a goody. For more than 40 years, Kramer’s has been the go-to spot for well-read Washingtonians. Grab anything from the table at the front entrance, and you’ll be happy.
Tabletop – A great spot for a hostess gift (or a little something for yourself).
If you, too, want to live in the heart of the city, sneak a peek at this beautiful Dupont home we have listed.

What’s your favorite spot to go out? 600t in Shaw is a hidden gem. I love to sit at the bar and watch the bartenders craft delicious cocktails. For a night out, I love a good show at 9:30 Club and the Anthem.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself. After college I worked as a bartender in Los Angeles and waited on a lot of celebrities. My favorite was Martin Sheen, he was so kind and charming!
One of the latest trends in interior design is dark trim. Read Mandy’s blog about how she incorporated beautiful navy trim into her own house.
